Rice students help homeless youth with creative initiatives in Houston
“Homelessness: Contributing Factors and Overcoming Difficulties”
On April 6th, 2019, we hosted an educational panel speaker event on issues surrounding homeless health and wellbeing, and how various organizations approach these issues
We invited six speakers to Rice University to share their experiences and expertise in their various fields. The speakers include: Marc Eichenbaum JD from the Mayor for Homeless Initiatives, Kenneth DeVon Eakins MA from Star of Hope, Jackie Eaton (CEO, Founder) from Gateway to Sobriety, Sarah McGriff MD from HOMES Clinic, David Buck MD MPH from University of Houston, College of Medicine, and Daniel Price from University of Houston, Honors College.
